...and she also got her ears pierced!
Paitin and Braylee acted like they liked each other for a split second while I took this photo.
This is what happens when you are not a professional water-balloon-filler like me!

It was love at first sight for these two. This is one of my favorite pictures of all time!

It has happened in the blink of an eye. My baby has grown into a little girl and I'm so unbelievably proud of who she's become! I remember the day (36 hours total) that I was in labor with Pait and the short push (3 hours and 6 minutes worth) to bring her little life into this world like it was yesterday! I remember the moments after birth when I couldn't believe God had blessed us with a little girl (which I was secretly hoping and praying for!!). She was amazing from her first breath. She always had a very quiet cry and she's still quite soft spoken...soft spoken, yes, but will talk your ear off if you let her! She was always really laid back and didn't mind not being mobile until she was 11 months old. She was a great sleeper early on, and it seemed like she was always smiling. I remember times when she was a baby when she would laugh so hard that I thought she was going to throw up! She was God's little *surprise* baby for us, but He knew exactly what we needed when she came into this world. She has been one of the biggest blessings in our life because we always wanted to be parents, it was just in God's timing and not our own. The day that she was born was in the top 3 best days of my life (the other being my wedding and later Braylee's birth), and she has been so awesome ever since. She is such a great kiddo now and can't believe that she's on the cusp of Kindergarten. I still see her as a baby, how can she be old enough to go to school?! I'm so proud to be called her Mommy and I'm calling a front row seat to see what God has planned next in her life!
She is so sweet! You and Scott should be proud-you're great parents!
